Proactive Server Monitoring and Maintenance
Your servers are monitored for alerts and business-impacting issues. When an alert is generated, we log in to the server and resolve the issue.
As security updates are released by Microsoft, they are tested and then applied, restarting the server during your off-business hours, usually over a weekend.
Proactive Desktop Maintenance
Desktop management can be resource-intensive and time consuming. Small or medium size businesses can spend $4,000 over three years to manage and maintain a single desktop using the reactive approach to desktop support (commonly called break/fix).
Our proactive desktop maintenance includes the following features:
- Patch management, anti-virus, anti-spyware and hardware monitoring
- Management of all client systems from a single console and remote access using LogMeIn.
- Client access portal and executive reporting on the status of your computer network
Asset and Inventory:
Scans are scheduled to run weekly to capture hardware, software, and operating system settings from users’ desktops. This data is reported back to our data center in Fremont, CA and is reported in the customer portal.
Logical Disk Checks:
Each logical disk on the server is checked to assure there is more than 750 free megabytes always available. This proactive approach keeps your server from running out of storage space and helps prevent potential server downtime.
Anti-Virus Management:
Scheduled anti-virus installation checks occur assuring an active AV client is installed and verify that the latest antivirus definition files have been updated and applied. This proactive approach helps fend off a malware attack before it happens.
Patching:
Patching of workstations and server has become a critical and time-consuming task. While automatic updates simplify patch deployment, we test each to ensure they are reliable before adding them to automatic deployments.
Reporting:
Three Executive Reports are available for client review, On-Demand Executive, Monthly Executive (short), and Monthly Executive (detailed). These reports provide a snapshot of your environment.
